Education and seminars

As a leading specialist centre for reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation QVH has a proud heritage and is known throughout the world for pioneering new and innovative techniques and treatments. We are able to offer excellent educational opportunities in the clinical areas and in the classroom.

In addition to training placements, our expert consultants and specialist teams also provide occasional seminars and events (see links to the right).

Doctor training

We offer specialist training in anaesthetics, maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery.

In addition, our corneo plastic unit offers two fellowship training programmes with pre-consultant fellows and the orthodontics unit has two fixed term training appointments (FTTAs) and three specialist registrar positions.

Doctors in training normally arrive at the beginning of February, April, August or October each year for a period of between four and 24 months.
